Sugared Peanuts

INGREDIENTS

2 ½ cups or ½ kg raw peanuts with shell1 ½ cups sugar1 ¼ cups water½ -¾ bottle red/green colouring...

METHOD

Boil all ingredients in a heavy based pot on medium heat...stirring occasionally... When syrup starts to thicken and coat peanuts... stir more vigorously until all nuts are coated...spread on greased baking sheet...and leave to Crispen in a low oven...80-100°……enjoy...
