Syrup2 cups sugar1 cup waterRose essence Boil till abit thick
In a dish mix chana flour, elachie powder & baking powder. Rub ghee (Clarified butter) into mixture making bread crumbs Now add water to make a smooth runny batter but not to thin.
Use a slotted spoon and drop batter into hot oil. Fry turning continuously until done remove straight onto paper towel to drain out the excess oil. When cool grind. Place mixture into warm syrup and cook on the stove till the mixture become abit dry. Leave for a few hours to soak then make balls
