125g butter¾ cup sugar2 eggs2 teaspoon baking powder1 teaspoon vanilla essence1½ cups flour¾ cup milk
*Pre heat oven to 180 degrees Celsius *Beat all of the above ingredients in a stand mix / electric mixer for 3 minutes.*Divide batter into 2 bowls, add 1 tablespoon cocoa powder to one of the bowls and mix with a metal spoon until there are no streaks.*Pour half the vanilla batter in a well greased loaf - pan then pour all the chocolate batter over and then the rest of the vanilla batter over the chocolate.*run a butter knife through going in an "S" Shape.*Bake from 35 minutes or until golden on the top and the cake is baked through. Use a skewer to test if it's baked through..*Remove from pan and allow to cool on wire rack.*dust with icing sugar, slice and enjoy!
