Left over dhal ghos ( I used left over degh dhal) And rice(optional is also of you have left over haleem) In a pot add 3 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter)Add 1 of each whole Jeeru (Cumin) tuj (cinnamon stick) cloves Whole peppers Elachi (cardomom) again 1 aniseedAdd 1 small onion fry till light golden Add curry leaves and 2 whole green chilli slit½ teaspoon nibbed garlicNow add 1 tomato grated Braise add +- 1 level teaspoon dhania (coriander) jeera again¾ teaspoon turmeric Add little crushed red or green chilli Or kashmiri chilli powderLittle lemon juice BraiseAdd in the cooked dhalBraise well Now add the amount of rice for the texture you prefer Add little waterCook add some hot homemade chutney or sauceCook taste adjust the salt and chilli againAdd Chopped shallot chopped green dhania (coriander)Little mint if preferred Before serving Fry samoosa pur and put over Garnish again with little chopped dhania (coriander) Enjoy hot
