INGREDIENTS
Ingredients: Base (2)125g butter2 cups cake flour½ cup white sugar1 tablespoon baking powderpinch of salt1 teaspoon vanilla essence 1 egg
Ingredients: Filling (2)2 cups milk¼ cup white sugar1 tablespoon flour1 tablespoon maizena (corn flour)1 tablespoon custard powder1 tablespoon buttercinnamon powder for sprinkling
METHOD
Method: BasePreheat oven to 180 degrees. Mix butter & sugar in bowl until light & fluffy. Add egg, flour, baking powder & salt. Mix well and knead to a pliable dough. Roll out into a circle & line the inside of the 2 foil baking trays or round baking tray) with the dough. Bake in oven until light brown. Remove & allow to cool.
Method: FillingDilute the maizena (corn flour), flour & custard in the milk & leave aside. Add butter, sugar & cinnamon sticks in to a pot & stir until butter melts. Add the milk mixture into the pot. Keep stirring until mixture thickens. Remove from stove. Remove the cinnamon sticks & add mixture into foil trays with baked lining. Sprinkle top with cinnamon powder & refrigerate. Enjoy!!!
