INGREDIENTS
1 cup flour ½ teaspoon baking powder 1 dessert spoon ghee (Clarified butter)¼ cup sour milk Pinch of salt 1 teaspoon sugar
Simple syrup:¾ sugar¾ water
METHOD
Mix dry ingredients. Rub in the ghee (Clarified butter) and make dough with sour milk. Roll out, cut and fry in hot oil. For the syrup, boil sugar and water until clear and sticky. Dip the daitara in the syrup and sprinkle with dessicated coconut.
