2 cups gram flour½ teaspoon egg yellowPinch elachee powder1 Tablespoon butter ghee (Clarified butter) 1 dessarts spoon baking powder Slivered or chopped coloured almonds
Sugar Syrup2 cups sugar1 ½ cup waterPinch elacheeColouring
1. Batter2 cups gram flour½ teaspoon egg yellowPinch elachee powder 1 Tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter)1 dessert spoon baking powderWater to make thick batter consistency.
2. Sugar Syrup2 cups sugar1 ½ cup waterPinch elachee ColouringBoil to thin consistency
3.Frying the luddoo/oilPreheat oil in a deep sauce pan.A colander is required to press the thick batter held onto the hot oil.Once golden brown using a slotted spoon drain the luddo mixture and dip into the syrup.Plus minus 55-60 minutes let the mixture absorb the sugar syrup.Using your hands form mixtures into balls and decorate with chopped coloured almonds.
