500 gram corse besan or laddu besan400 gram Sugar200 ml water400 gram ghee (Clarified butter)1 cup Milk1 cup unsweetened mawa (optional)2 teaspoon Cardamom powder
First mix the besan with 100 gram ghee (Clarified butter) and 1 cup milk.Mix it nicely.On medium flame add 300gram ghee (Clarified butter) in pot and heat it.After that add the mixture which we made previously. Mix it with wooden spatula and cook it nicely for 20 minutes or till it change colour to nice yellow colour and good roasted aroma. Add mawa and cardamom powder and roast it for more 2 minutes. Then put the mixture on side. In other pot add sugar and water and make chasni or thick sugar syrup. Add sugar syrup in mixture and mix it nicely till it comes thick. Grease the plate with little ghee (Clarified butter) and add a mixture to set. Allow it to set for 3-4 hours or you can set it for overnight.Enjoy it....
INFO & TIPS
Make chasni with 2 strains. Check it on you finger if it is 2 strains then it is perfect.
If you add mawa it will be very nice..
