Ooo hello comfort food...Masala chips, snack or meal?
Oil3 spring onions finely chopped including whites½ red pepper finely chopped 2-3 garlic cloves finely chopped2tvso finely chopped coriander ½ cup passata 2 tablespoon tomato sauce2 tablespoon siracchaSalt Pepper½ teaspoon cuminLarge Dash lemon juice or tamarindPinch Hayder ½ teaspoon chilli powder add more for spice½ teaspoon paprika Frozen chips
1. In a large frying pan - add oil spring onions peppers and garlic cloves for 1-2 minutes 2. Add all the other ingredients (I prefer doing this in small bowl and leaving it to one side so it’s easier when I’m cooking) 3. Cut extra spring onion for garnishing Tip: you can oven bake the chips, masala can be made in advance but only mix with chips when serving! Add more chillies /lemon juice to your taste.
