INGREDIENTS
1 x 410g can chick peas liquid removed¼ cup tahini ¼ cup fresh lemon juice 1 clove garlic 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 teaspoon jeera powder Paprika Sumac Salt to taste
METHOD
Take the lemon juice and tahini and process it until lite and creamy ,, it’s the secret to creamy and fluffy home made hummus Now add 2 tablespoons olive oil and 1 grated or crushed clove of garlic Process for 1 minuteNow add halve of the chick peas and process for 1 minute till very smooth and creamy Now add the other halve of chick peas the jeera powder and salt to taste Process for 2 minutes It should be very smooth and creamy If u still hv bits of chick peas in bowl dnt stress Add 3 table spoons of cold water or 3 tablespoons plain yoghurt and process for another 2 minutes Now your humus should be creamy and fluffy Pour into a bowl and drizzle with olive oil Sprinkle WTH a little paprika I love to sprinkle mine with sumac… ooh so Devine
