INGREDIENTS
4 cups flour
1pkt instant yeast
½ lb butter (divide into 3 -
rub 1 piece into flour)
2 eggs
4 tablespoon sugar
(beat well)
1
cup lukewarm milk
1 cup lukewarm water
METHOD
Make dough with egg mixture and water and milk. DO NOT OVER MIX
Allow to rise for 1 hour
Roll like pastry dough with 1 part butter
(Roll using maizena (corn flour))
Put in fridge for an hour (wrapped in plastic)
Roll out with 2nd part of butter
Leave in fridge for another hour (with plastic)
Roll out rectangular.Cut with doughnut cutter,Allow to rise.
Fry in moderately hot oil
Brush hot cronuts with jam...(optional)
Or slit in half,pipe with beaten cream
Drizzle glaze (icing sugar+boiling water)
Sift with icing sugar
