INGREDIENTS
Dough mix
2 cups cake flour
Pinch salt
packet dry instant yeast
2 tablespoons olive oil
½ cup Amasi or buttermilk
1 cup Warm water
Filling
250 g Simonsberg honey and mustard cream cheese
Tablepspoon honey
Teaspoon Dry herbmix( spice mecca)
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
METHOD
Method
Mix all dough mixture together and knead till ball stage form, set aside to double in size. Roll out proofed dough mix into a sqare. Smear simonberg honey and mustard cream cheese on rolled out dough, drizzle honey over spread. Sprinle dry herbs over, sprinkle grated cheese over. Now roll up the dough into a sausage roll form. Slice pieces and place in greased ovenproof dish tightly next to each other. Brush dough with beaten egg
Sprinkle grated cheese on top. Bake on 230 oven temp for 20mins. Serve warm
