INGREDIENTS
1 kg mince, chicken/steak/mutton2 onions grated, squeeze out water4 slices bread, remove crusts, dampen½ bunch dhania (coriander) 2 teaspoon salt or to taste½ teaspoon white pepper1 ½ teaspoon dhana Jeeru (Cumin) powder1 teaspoon garlic paste1 tablespoon ground green chillies or to taste2 eggs beaten
METHOD
1. Wash mince, squeeze out water, add bread to mince and all the spices, chillies, garlic, greens and eggs to bind.2. Form frikkadels in greased hands.3. Leave to rest in fridge for 2hrs or till ready to fry.4. Fry in medium oil on medium heat, till cooked through and golden on either side.5. Serve with lemon.
A good side to add to battered fried fish and chips, or make in toasted sandwiches or even place as a topping on a pizza.
