Mince Pasta Bake

INGREDIENTS

1 onion (sliced)
1 piece taj
1 teaspoon chilli powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dhana Jeeru (Cumin) powder
¼ teaspoon turmeric
1 tablespoon red ginger garlic masala
2 large tomatoes (liquidized)
250g pasta
2 cups milk
2 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoon flour
Salt and pepper
Grated cheese
Italian mixed herbs
Micro leaf herbs

METHOD

Add masala and spices and braise till fragrant.
Add mince.
Cook until no water remains then add tomatoes.
Cook till tomato has reduced completely. Remove taj.
Boil pasta in salted water till al-dente and drain.
Heat milk and butter, whisk in flour.
Whisk until thickened and smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Mix pasta into sauce.
Spoon mince into an oven proof dish.
Pour pasta over.
Sprinkle cheese and italian herbs.
Place in oven to melt cheese.
Sprinkle over micro leaf herbs and serve.
