5 cups flour
(at room temp) 3 tablespoon sugar 1 ½ teaspoon salt 3 cups milk(at room temp) 2 eggs ¼ cup butter 20g instant yeast 2 tablespoon mashed potato Method: Mix all dry ingredients except sugar with butter to form crumbs.Blend eggs,sugar,milk and mashed potato.Add this to flour mixture and knead thoroughly.leave in a warm place to rise to double its size.When it has risen,punch down and leave to rise again.Knead again when it has risen for the second time.Now roll out into a big circle.Cut lines across the middle in a star pattern.Next put a filling around the edges(I used grated mozzarella and Gouda cheese,Mushrooms fried in butter and seasoned with salt and pepper and fried polony slices)Pull the center sections to the edge and join with the edge so you end up with a crown pattern.Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds.Bake at 180 degrees until u see a golden brown color.Jazakallah💖lb / pounds |
