Steak pie filling
Recipe credit :@naeema_mia Pic credit :@naeema_mia You will need : 1 tray pastry delights ready cut pie dough 1 egg beaten Parsley Filling : ½kg steak cubes 1 small onion finely chopped 2 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter) Salt to taste ½ teaspoon ground pepper 1 teaspoon ginger and garlic paste 1 teaspoon red masala 1 teaspoon chilli powder 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1 teaspoon Paprika ½ teaspoon dhana jeeru (cumin) Juice of a lemon 2 teaspoon vinegarSaute onion in ghee (Clarified butter), add steak with rest of ingredients. Cook until tender. When steak is cooled, add in 2 tablespoon mayonnaise and 2-3 tablespoon tomato sauce mix well Lastly add in chopped dhania (coriander) and spring onions.
Fill spoonful of filling in the center of the pie dough, fold over brush egg and sprinkle dried parsley. BACK TO RECIPElb / pounds |
