Aamli Chutney (savoury Dip)

INGREDIENTS

Ingredients:
2 cloves garlic
6 red chillies
¼ cup white vinegar
1 packet Red aamli
Tomato sauce/ apricot jam (to taste)
Vagaar-
Jeeru (Cumin) seeds
Rai (black mustard seeds)
Limrie (curry leaves)
Oil

METHOD

2. Make juice and strain, diacarding seeds.
3. Liquidise chillies, garlic and aamli juice together.
4. Strain out chilli seeds.
5. Make the vagaar by tempering the seeds and curry leaves.
6. When seeds start to "pop" remove from heat and pour over sauce.
7. Add salt as needed.
8. Add tomato sauce or jam to add some texture and sweetness and lessen heat.
