Stuffed Savoury French Toast (Egg bread)
Rec and pic cred: ruhana ebrahim @mama_taught_me_well (Serves 4-6) Ingredients: ¾ loaf white sliced bread 7 large eggs 1 teaspoon red ginger garlic masala 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon chilli powder 1 ½ teaspoon dhana Jeeru (Cumin) powder ½ teaspoon turmeric powder ½ teaspoon white pepper ¼ cup chopped coriander ¼ cup milk Grated gouda cheese Fried polony slicesWhisk egg mixture altogether.
Cut bread slices in half. Place cheese and polony between two halves, not close to edges. Dip bread in egg mixture and shallow fry until golden and crispy on either side. Serve whilst hot so cheese is still melted. Note: could do cheat method like me. Using two ordinary egg bread, place cheese and polony and reheat in dry pan until cheese melted.
