INGREDIENTS

1 medium onion sliced very thinly
2 tablespoon whole jeeru (cumin)
4 cloves
4 pieces cinnamon sticks
5 whole peppercorns
Few curry leaves
Few whole green chillies slit in middle
4medium tomatoes ..liquidise
6medium potatoes ..peel and cut in half
4cups basmati rice ...
Masala
Fine Dhana
Fine jeeru (cumin)
Fine Red chillie powder
Lemon juice.. ½ cup
Plain yoghurt ...½ cup
For Dhai
5green chillies
Handful of chopped dhania (coriander)
Few leaves of mint
Salt and pepper

METHOD

Add meat
Add ginger/garlic
Salt ..haldi
Allow to braise till you get an aroma ..
Allow meat to cook on.low heat add a,little water for meat to cook
Chicken ...30,minutes
Mutton ...1hr
Put potatoes in allow to boil for 20mins
Then put tomatoes
Then masalas
4tsps fine dhana
4tsps fine jeeru (cumin)
4tsps red chillie powder
Add washed rice little by little
Stir carefully be careful not to break potatoes
Allow to cook.on.low hear till there is no water ...
Put pot in oven on bake at 180degrees for an hour till rice is cooked
Cut fresh dhania (coriander) on top
Serve with dhai
