Rose & pista (pistachio nuts) Barfee
@mubina_18 500g of full cream milk powder (klim) 1 small tin nestle cream 2 cups sugar ½ cup ghee (Clarified butter) 1 ½ cups of water 1 cup ground pista (pistachio nuts) & almond 1 teaspoon Elaichi powder 1 teaspoon rose essence 2-3 roses make a thin paste with water.(optional) Boil together water and sugar in a pot to form a syrup.add rose essence and rose flowers paste. In a separate bowl combine the milk powder,ghee (Clarified butter),Elaichi powder and ½ of nestle cream mix well until the mixture resembles bread crumbs.Stir in the ground pista (pistachio nuts) and almonds into the mixture. Add this mixture into the boiling water and sugar syrup and ½ of nestle cream. Mix well. Cook on medium heat until thick and glossy. pour the mixture into a glass tray.Decorate the top with a sprinkling of pista (pistachio nuts)/almonds.Refrigerate for 2 hours.
