Plse half this recipe 4 cups flour 4 teaspoon baking pwdr ¼ cup melted butter ½ teaspoon salt ½ teaspoon bicarb +- 1 teaspoon Nutmeg freshly grated optional I added extra mix Rub all together Then Beat well 1 cup sugar 2 eggs beaten well with vanilla Add+- 1 cup maas (I use maas) or you can use yoghurt to make a soft Dough Knead and keep aside for a while Roll out a bit thick like 1cm thickness cut with doughnut cutter Fry in deep med to hot oil Dip COLD in WARM TO MED HOT SYRUP Syrup 2 ¼ cups sugar tuj (cinnamon stick) (I added rose essence) 3 ½ cup water Boil. Not thin but not too thick either .like for jambu..dip don't soak too much Only soak if u like sweet Dust with dessicated coconut Alternatively dip in melted chocolate and put sprinkles or roll hot in sugar and cinamon BACK TO RECIPElb / pounds |
