It's that time of the year... mangoes galore 😋
(Original recipe calls for pineapples and carrots). I love this recipe so I tweaked it.
2kg peeled and sliced mangoes 3 tablespoon Methi (Fenugreek) masala 1 teaspoon salt2 teaspoon Kashmiri chilli powder 1 teaspoon arad (Turmeric)1 teaspoon dhana jeeroo Toss above
In a pan heat:¾ cup oil Sliced green chillies 2 teaspoon mustard seeds 2 teaspoon sesame seeds Curry leaves 2 teaspoon garlicBraise and add to mangoes.
Boil till thick:2 cups Vinegar 2 cups brown sugar ½ cup maizena (corn flour) Add to above Mix wellBottle wen cool.
