Ingredients:Puri-2 cups water2 tablespoon butter¼ teaspoon fine salt+/-2 cups cake flour
Filling-1 kg steak (cubed)1 onion (sliced)1 piece taj (cinnamon stick)1 tablespoon red ginger garlic masala1 tablespoon ground garlic paste1 teaspoon chilli powder1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon dhana jeeroo powder¼ teaspoon turmeric powder1 teaspoon lemon pepper1 tablespoon brown vinegar1 teaspoon mustard powder2 tomatoes (liquidized)1 tablespoon tomato sauce1 tablespoon mustard sauceChopped dhania (coriander) (coriander)1 cup grated gouda cheese

METHOD
Filling-1. Saute onion in oil with taj till soft.2. Add spices, masala, garlic, vinegar and mustard and braise till fragrant.3. Add steak and cook till no water remains.4. Add tomatoes and cook till tomato has reduced.5. Add more water if necessary to tenderize steak.6. Add sauces and allow to thicken.7. Once filling has cooled, add chopped dhania (coriander).
Puri-1. Place water, butter and salt in a saucepan and boil.2. Add flour and stir vigorously until it forms a ball.3. Remove from heat, knead into a smooth dough.4. Roll out dough thinly on a floured surface.5. Use a circle cutter, cut out rounds, one for top and one for bottom.6. Spoon filling onto one round, sprinkle on some cheese, then cover with other round.7. Press sides down with fork to seal.8. Dip in beaten egg and breadcrumbs.9. Freezer suitable now)10. Fry in hot oil till golden and crispy.
