2 cups ghee (Clarified butter)
1 cup castor sugar
Beat in processor till white and fluffy
Add
1 egg ( use the whole egg)
(Optional.:Few drops Elachi (cardomom) essence and or Vanilla essence)
¼ teaspoon bicarb
½ teaspoon baking powder
Pinch of salt
+- ½ teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon elachie crushed
( ¼ cup dessicated coconut optional)
½ cup semolina
Mix well in food processor
Now gradually add little by little
+- 2 ½ cups to 3 cups self raising flour make a soft dough
Make small pingball sizes flatten slightly..stick almond in centre
Tip: dip almonds in milk so it sticks.
Bake at180* for +- 20 minutes till light in colour
U prefer whitish creamy appearance
