Savory Crumpets With A Difference
RECIPE
This recipe does not require you to have exact measurements you just add as you want
( Optional: 1 full cup shredded cooked chicken or polony or any shredded cooked meats or cream style corn )
To keep meatless
1 ½ cup cake flour
2 teaspoon baking powder
1-2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoon oil
1 egg beaten with
1 cup milk ½ cup water
11/2 teaspoon crushed red chilli
1 teaspoon green ground chilli
1 Dhana Jeeru (Cumin)
1 teaspoon whole crushed Jeeru (Cumin)
1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
1 grated onion (juice squeezed)
Few steamed green pepers cubed
Little lettuce shredded fine
Handful ground green dhania (coriander)
Few chopped shallot
( You can add any sauces to give it a diff taste I added
1Tblsp tomato sauce
And jalepeno sauce few drops lemon juice
Make a nice batter slightly thicker than the usual pancake batter
Grill on greased griddle in ghee (Clarified butter)
TIP: I always do 1 taste and add what ever I need to adjust
Enjoy hot with sauces
