INGREDIENTS
500g steak mince2 teaspoon garlic & ginger paste1 onion-finely chopped1 teaspoon black pepper1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon nutmeg2 teaspoon tomato paste500g mashed potatoes3 boiled eggs1 tin sweetcorn
METHOD
Braise onion in a little oil & butter till soft & golden. Add mince & braise till brown. Add salt, spices & paste- stir well. Cook till almost dry. Place cooked mince in greased ovenproof dish. Pour sweetcorn over. Arrange egg slices over corn. Top with mashed potatoes (prepared with a little butter & milk). Sprinkle a little nutmeg over mash. Beat 1 egg & a little milk together & pour over potatoes. Sprinkle grated cheese over. Bake @ 180*C till egg sets. Serve with green salad.
