1 large English cucumber 8 tablespoon chana flour 1½ teaspoon mealie meal 3 teaspoon cake flour ¼ teaspoon arad (Turmeric) ½ teaspoon dhana jeeru (cumin) ½ teaspoon ground green chillies ½ teaspoon salt 2 tablespoon chopped
Grate cucumber and mix all ingredients together. Add enough water to make a firm batter that drops easily from a spoon. Pour a tablespoon of oil onto pan. Drop a heaped tablespoon of the batter and flatten. When bottom is brown, pour a little oil over the top, turn and fry till done.
