
Paella

1 cup of rice(tastic)or paella rice
½ red pepper chopped into medium
sized cubes
½ green " " "
½ yellow" " "
1 small onion finely chopped
½ cup mixed frozen veg
peppercorns
saffron or tumeric
salt to taste
black pepper to taste
cayenne pepper
chicken fillet cubed or whole chicken
cooked
1 tomatoe
1 can tomatoe paste
garlic and ginger paste
METHOD
add oil to pot with a little butter,add
onions
braise well,add the remaining veg and
peppers.cook
half done add tomatoe paste,tomatoe
,salt,
black
pepper,cayenne pepper,tumeric,add garlic
and
ginger,add water and rice,allow to cook
until rice
is done,when done fold the chicken.it

INFO & TIPS
you can add cooked prawns or cookedsausages cut
into circles.
