1 tin condensed milk 385g3 tablespoon semolina2 teaspoon elachie powder2 teaspoon baking powder1 teaspoon bicarbonate soda Flour to make a soft dough about 2 and a half cups
Syrup 2 cups sugar1 and a half cup waterFew pods of eachie1 cinnamon stickFew cloves Few strands of saffron (Optional) or rose essence Boil till abit thick
Add condensed milk, semolina, baking soda, and bicarbonate of soda, elachie powder and mix well now add flour little at a time till you get a nice soft dough and not too sticky
Make shapes and fry in medium to hot oil till nice and brown.
