INGREDIENTS
Dough ingredients:1/2lb butter1 cup icing sugar1 teaspoon baking powder2 eggs10 tablespoon maizena (corn flour) (corn flour)1 teaspoon vanilla essence+-3 ½ cups flour
Other ingredients:Pink colourGreen colourOatsCoconutCherriesCastor sugarMelted chocolate
METHOD
For dough:1.) cream butter and sugar till white and fluffy,add the rest of ingredients and form a dough.2.)divide dough into 3parts
Biscuit one:1.)roll 1 part of the dough out on a floured surface,cut into desired shapes and bake in a pre heated oven (180degrees) till golden brown.2.)leave to cool then roll in caster sugar.
Biscuit two:1.)add oats and coconut to the 2nd part of the dough,knead then roll on a floured surface and cut into desired shapes.2.)bake in a pre heated oven(180degrees) till golden brown.3.)leave to cool then drizzle with melted chocolate and cherries.
Biscuit three:1.)divide the 3rd part of the dough into a further 3partsLeave one part white,add green colour to the second part and pink colour to the third.2.)roll each colour into thin log shapes and place the 3different coloured logs together to form a triangle shape.Wrap in clingwrap and place in the freezer for 15mins, remove from freezer,cut into 1cm thick triangles and bake in a pre heated oven(180degrees) till golden brown.3.)leave to cool then roll in castor sugar.
