INGREDIENTS
6 large eggs1 teaspoon vanilla essence ¾ cup castor sugar 1 cup flour 1 heaped teaspoon baking powder
FillingStrawberry jamWhipped cream Fresh slices of strawberry
METHOD
Grease Swiss roll tray well.. I smeared coconut oil and dusted with flour.. Shake off excess flour. Separate egg whites.Beat egg white until stiff peaks. Add in castor sugar a teaspoon at a time beating on low speed. Now add in yolks one at a time.. Add in vanilla essence. Sift flour and baking powder together and add in little by little while beating on low.. Spread evenly on the tray and bake on 180 for 12 - 15 minutes.Remove from oven. Allow to rest for few minutes. Sprinkle castor sugar on it then roll in to a swiss roll with a kitchen net.. Allow to cool completely. Open up the Swiss roll. Spread the jam then the cream.. Add on the strawberry slice then roll it up.Decorate as desired..
