1.) Warm a little oil in a non-stick pan, add patties, cover half way with boiled water and leave to steam with the lid on until it’s cooked through, then brown them on both sides (my mum @sajedabanu72 taught me how to steam them like this).2.) Place onions on top of each patty, top with burger sauce - steam again for approx 5 minutes with the lid on until onions are soft.3.) Then top with the cheese slice, sriracha sauce, garlic mayo and steam for another 2-3 minutes for cheese to melt slightly.4.)
