Falooda:I litre milk
2 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoon falooda powder
½ cup dessicated coconut
1 tin condensed milk
1 small tin nestle cream
1 cup vanilla ice-cream
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1-2 tablespoon finely ground almonds
Boil milk with sugar, falooda
powder and
coconut. Remove from heat and cool.
Beat with beater till frothy. Add rest
ingredients. Mix well. Set in mould/
glass dish. Decorate with sweetened
whipped fresh cream and flake/
slivered
almondsVariations-
Strawberry: omit the vanilla essence
and
ground almonds and substitute with
strawberry essence and few drops of
pink/red colouring. Decorate with
fresh
cream and sliced strawberries
Peppermint: omit vanilla essence and
ground almonds and substitute with
peppermint essence and green
colouring.
Decorate with fresh cream and grated
peppermint crisp
