INGREDIENTS
250g butter, 4 cups flour, 4 tablespoon sugar, 8 teaspoon baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 2 teaspoon whole jeera, 1 cup milk or fresh cream.
METHOD
Sift dry ingredients. Cut butter into small pieces and rub into dry ingredients. Add jeera an make dough with milk or cream. Pat dough thickly on board. Cut into fingers or shapes with cutter. Bake at 140 deg for ½ hour and lower heat to 100 deg and allow to get crisp.
