INGREDIENTS
1kg rumpsteak cut into decent sized pieces 1 teaspoon crushed chillies1 teaspoon crushed garlic1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon freshly crushed black pepper2 tablespoon mayonnaise1 tablespoon mustard sauce*1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce1 teaspoon lemon pepper1 teaspoon lemon juice
ghee (Clarified butter)Oil1 onion slicedFresh cream
METHOD
Marinate steak with spices and saucesHeat up ghee (Clarified butter) and oil in your instant pot and saute onions for 5mins then add steak and Saute for 5mins then pressure cook on meat function for 15mins without any liquid as the steak gives off its own - allow for NPRIf there is excess liquid use Saute function to burn off any remaining liquid allowing a thickish gravy to remain Add in fresh cream and a blob of butter and allow to Saute for a couple more minutesGarnish and serve with sides of choice, I served with a creamy Alfredo pasta
INFO & TIPS
If you do not have an instant pot or pressure cooker, you could cook this on the stovetop, however, cooking times will vary
* I used wholegrain mustard and also added in 1T sour cream.with the fresh cream at the end of cooking
