This is the easiest carrot halwa recipe you’ll ever find.
¼ kg carrots ( I used baby carrots )1 1/2cups of milk 4 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter)¼ cup sugar 1 large cinnamon stick2 elaichi pods 2 teaspoon semolina⅛ teaspoon vanilla essence ( just a drop )
1. In a deep pot, bring the milk to boil. 2. Once the milk starts to boil add in grated carrots along with cinnamon and elaichi 3. Let the carrots boil until the milk evaporates, then add in the sugar and a little water so that it doesn’t scorch. 4. Stir occasionally, do not leave the pot unattended. 5. Once the carrots start drying out, add in the ghee (Clarified butter), vanilla essence and stir. Last add in your semolina and let it dissolve. 6. You can add in a little more milk if it seems too dry 6. Decorate with coloured, roasted nuts 6. Enjoy :)
