METHOD
1. Cook ¾ cup Basmati rice2. Add in 1-2 chicken stock concentrate sachets or the equivalent of chicken stock3. Add ½ teaspoon turmeric - more for a brighter colourA dash of salt4. When the rice is almost done, drain and give it a rinse Heat olive oil in a pan and add ¼ cup fried onions and ¾ cup frozen peas.5. Sauté a little and add in the rice.6. Pour in a ¼ cup of hot water or chicken stock and steam until fluffy. 7. Top with a slice of garlic butter, or garlic flakes and a slice of butter.
