2 tablespoons barley flour
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon honey (or more to taste)
A sprinkle of cinnamon
A few crushed almonds or dates for garnish
Instructions:
1. In a saucepan, dry roast the barley flour on low heat for 1-2 minutes until slightly fragrant. (This step enhances the flavor.)
2. Gradually add the milk while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
3. Cook on low heat, stirring, for about 5-7 minutes until it thickens.
4. Remove from heat and stir in honey.
