Ingredients
1 egg white¼ cup sugarA pinch of cream of tartarGel food colouring (pink, green & purple)
Method
🔸️Preheat oven to 150°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.🔸️Beat the egg white until frothy.🔸️Slowly add the sugar, a little at a time, beating until dissolved.🔸️Add the cream of tartar and continue beating until the meringue is thick, glossy, and holds stiff peaks.🔸️Divide the meringue into 3 bowls and tint each with gel colouring.🔸️Spoon into piping bags and pipe small blobs onto the tray.🔸️Bake at 150°C for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 100°C and bake for 1 hour.🔸️Switch off the oven and allow the meringues to cool completely inside the oven.
