So I finally tried these, don't think I want to "fry" doughnuts anymore...lol.
Here's the recipe I used, NOT MY OWN, but worth a try.
(A Floating BBM Recipe)
1 and ¾ cup (all purpose) flour
1 and ½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon nutmeg(Powder)
¼ teaspoon cinnamon(Powder)
¾ cup granulated sugar
¾ cup milk
⅓ Cup Vegetable Oil
~Sift and Combine Dry Ingredients.
~Whisk Wet Ingredients in separate bowl.
~Add liquids to dry ingredients combine together well, without over beating. (I used a wooden spoon)
~Spoon mixture into prepared muffin tins(Or use Cupcake Cases like I have)
~Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 20-25 minutes OR until lighlty golden and skewer comes out clean when inserted.
~While muffins are baking prepare sugar topping.
Cinnamon Sugar Topping
¼ cup granulated sugar
¼ teaspoon cinnamon powder.
While muffins are hot/warm,
~dip tops into OR Brush with the (½ cup) melted butter
~and roll into the Cinnamon Sugar topping.
