INGREDIENTS
1 cup butter - soften
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups cake flour
1 teaspoon bicarbonate soda
2 teaspoon hot water
½ teaspoon salt
2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts ( optional )
METHOD
Pre heat oven to 180 degrees
Cream together the butter and both the sugars until smooth .
Beat in the eggs One at the time , stir in the vanilla .
Dissolve the baking powder in the hot water , add to batter along with salt , stir in the flour , choc chips and nuts .
make balls out of the batter and place on the wax wrapped tray , leave space between cookies.
Bake for about 10minutes .
You can substitute 1 cup flour with 1 cup ground oAt meal .
You can also use white choc chips
This dough can be placed in a freezer and taken out when you want to use .
Soft and chewy centered .
INFO & TIPS
Best served hot .
We had this at my sister in laws straight out of the oven and OMG Devine .
Place in oven while making tea this will bake in 10minutes .
