125g butter (softened) ¾ cup castor sugar 1 egg ¼ cup golden syrup 1 ½ teaspoon ginger powder 1 ½ teaspoon cinnamon powder 1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda Self raising flour (enough to make a soft biscuit dough)
Beat butter and sugar untill fluffy. Add in eggs and golden syrup and beat. Add rest of ingredients and form a soft dough with self rising flour. Make into balls and flatten slightly. Bake 160 degrees until done.
I sprinkle a little sugar on top of biscuits just before baking Enjoy !
