Chocolate Cake Overload | My Recipe

INGREDIENTS

4 eggs
1 cup sugar
½ cup oil
1 teaspoon vanilla essence

½ cup boiling water
3 tablespoon Cocoa

1 ½ cups flour
3 teaspoon baking powder

This makes only 1 round cake .,
You have to make 2 of these Or double the recipe.

Chocolate sauce :
150g dairymilk chocolate
Small thin nestle cream
Note :if you are planning to put chocolate sauce in between the layers then you have to double this chocolate sauce
( I made mousse )

250ml fresh cream
¼ to less icing sugar sugar .

Assemble :
Chocolates of your choice

METHOD

Preheat oven to 180 degrees
best together the first ingredients . Make sure it's fluffy .
Add cocoa to boiled water .
Add flour and baking powder to egg mixture , gradually add the cocoa mixture and mix until well combined .

Using 2 round baking tin , grease the tins nicely so cake comes out easily .
Place in a pre heated oven for about 15 minutes or until done .
Allow to cool completely .

To assemble :
firstly make sure the cakes are flat on top if not take a bread knife and cut off the tops , make it even and flat .

Chocolate sauce :
In a pot add the chocolate and nestle cream allow to melt while stirring . Low heat . Set aside .

In your machine beat fresh cream and icing sugar until stiff . Set aside .

Assemble : you can either smear a good amount of chocolate sauce in between the layers or simply smoothen a thin of caramel treat and smear that . Stick the 2 cakes together .

Now using a flat battle knife start smearing the fresh cream around the whole cake evenly and neatly .,use a light hand so that the cake doesn't crumble .

Now pour the chocolate sauce from the centre and this will start running down to the sides .
Place chocolates or fruit of your choice on top .

INFO & TIPS

you can use your own cake recipe as well as filling in between .

Also if you do not like fresh cream make butter icing to cover cake .
