INGREDIENTS
1 tin condensed milk (397g)
1 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter) (clarified butter)
2 cups cake flour (adjust)
3 tspns baking powder
pinch of ground Elachi (cardomom) powder (cardamom)
½ teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
Syrup:
1 & ½ cups white sugar
1 cup water
METHOD
Syrup
Add water & sugar into pot. Boil together. Make sure that u check as the syrup must be thin. Once done, keep aside.
Gulab Jamun
Mix condensed milk, ghee (Clarified butter) & Elachi (cardomom) - mix well. Add baking powder & bicarb & mix well again. Add in sifted flour. Mix well & make sure that dough is soft but not sticky. Roll with hands into long finger shapes & fry slowly until golden brown & well cooked. Dip into syrup & keep aside to cool. You can also roll it into coconut if u want. Taste is absolutely divine.
