3 eggs1 cup corn flour/maizena (corn flour)½ teaspoon Elachi (cardomom) powder2 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter)1 tin condensed milk2 cups cake flour ½ cup Semolina½ teaspoon nutmeg3 teaspoon baking powder Syrup:2 cups sugar1 ½ cups boiling water¼ to ½ teaspoon Elachi (cardomom) powder1 teaspoon rose essence (optional)
Beat eggs, Semolina, ghee (Clarified butter) and condensed milk together. Then mix in dry ingredients. Cover and allow dough to stand for atleast 1 hour or longer. Roll into index finger thick logs and pinch edges. Roll out all first and place on a tray dusted with flour or on wax paper. Heat oil, and fry on medium heat till puffs up and gets golden brown. Dip in syrup while warm and Sprinkle coconut.
