INGREDIENTS
1 egg
2 teaspoon milk
5 tablespoon milk powder
2 tablespoon flour
1 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter)
1 teaspoon baking powder
3 cups water
1 cup sugar
Pinch saffron
¼ teaspoon Elachi (cardomom) powder
2 drops rose essence
2 drops yellow coloring
Oil and ghee (Clarified butter) mix for frying
METHOD
Put up water and sugar with Elachi (cardomom) .. essence and coloring .. leave on low
Put oil and ghee (Clarified butter) mix on low for frying
Mix together
Flour
Milk powder
Baking powder
ghee (Clarified butter)
Milk
Egg
Make a soft dough
Make tiny smooth balls .. fry till light brown .. strain and drop in sugar water syrup .. cover and let steam for 5 minutes on low till balls swell ..
INFO & TIPS
Make balls really small because they swell up quite a lot .. like 2cm ..
Oil musnt be too hot
