INGREDIENTS
1 cup milk½ cup sugar⅓ cup water1 and half tablespoon cornstarch4 egg yolks2 cinnamon sticks1 teaspoon vanilla essenceIcing sugarCinnamon powderButter pastry
METHOD
Simple syrupSugarWater Whole Cinnamon
Heat cornflour and milkAdd in egg yolks and vanillaThan Add in the simple syrup and mix continuously until combinedPour the mixture through a sieve and allow to cool down
Pour the custard into the puff pastry and bake for 10-12 minutes on the highest SETTING.
Dust over Icing sugar and powder CINNAMON.
INFO & TIPS
Use butter pastry not puff pastry, the puff pastry leaves an aftertaste.
You can substitute cinnamon for rose. Pistachio or literally anything else you want.
