Gulab Jamun Custard Rec cred: Ruhana EbrahimPic cres: @mama_taught_me_well Ingredients:Custard-1 liter full cream milk1⁄2 cup ordinary sugar1⁄4 cup custard powder2 drops rose essence1⁄2 teaspoon elachie powder Also needed-Pistachios+/- 2 dzn small round gulab jamun Method-Pastry-1. Mix custard powder into cold milk. Add sugar and remainder ingredients.2. Boil on med-low heat till thickened to pouring consistency.3.Allow to cool a little, then pour into dessert cups/ shot glasses.4. Place in gulab jamun. Garnish with pistaschios.5. Place in fridge to chill.
