1 cup lapsi (crushed wheat)
2 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter)
1 teaspoon oil
1 cinnamon stick
2 Elachi (cardomom) pods
3 cups water
1 cup sugar
Powder Elachi (cardomom)
Fresh cream “garnishing”
Braise lapsi (crushed wheat)
in ghee (Clarified butter) and oil .. add cinnamon stick and Elachi (cardomom) pods
Once lapsi (crushed wheat)
gives off fragrance and is browned nicely .. add 2 cups water ..
cover with lid and let cook on low till water dries out ..
now add 1 cup water again and let it cook and dry out.
Once dry add sugar .. Elachi (cardomom) powder ..
leave on low to let sugar dissolve properly ..
Once completely dry .. serve with fresh cream and nuts
