1 cup chickpeas soaked over night
half onion chopped
Aamli sauce :
imli (tamerine) (tamerine) sauce :
1 packet imli (tamerine) (tamerine) pulp soaked in hot water .
1 teaspoon ginger garlic
1⁄2 teaspoon red chilli paste
1 teaspoon dhana powder
1 teaspoon jeera powder
2 tablespoon l sugar
In a pot , add some oil , ginger garlic red chili saute on low add the imli (tamerine) (tamerine) strained imli (tamerine) (tamerine) pulp ( make sure theirs no seeds and fiber ) and water to make runny and all the spices and bring to boil . adjust sweetness with more or less sugar .
serve with :
chopped dhania (coriander)
chopped red onions
fried pur cut off
In a pressure cooker if you have 1 , add the chickpeas onions and potato
add some water 1 to 2 cups
allow this to soften about 4 whistles .
cool it if their is alot water left throw out some .
squeeze 1 whole lemon
add some chili powder
if you dnt have a pressure cooker
boil chickpeas and onion with salt in 1 pot
boil potato in another
Eat with a good amount of the aamli sauce
